About Lauren Wilson

A studio-minded approach
to colour and repeat.

This portfolio introduces an independent surface-pattern practice through original fictional briefs. It shows the decisions inside a pattern, without presenting invented commercial projects.

Start with a useful constraint.

A small set of shapes and a clear surface give a pattern room to develop. The aim is a repeat with a recognisable character, a deliberate scale and a palette that supports its purpose.

The examples investigate fruit, drops and geometric flowers. They use no supplied client artwork and claim no sales, launches, collaborations or awards. Their role is to open a specific conversation about a possible brief.

Real production needs a confirmed supplier specification and a proof. The difference between screen artwork and material output stays visible throughout the project discussion.
