After Rain
A soft drop motif, set in a fresh, open rhythm.
The imagined brief
The invented brief calls for a quieter repeat for a small home-textile direction. A single drop silhouette gives the study a recognisable family; the inner curved mark prevents it from becoming a solid block.
The pattern decision
Three motif colours move across a pale background. Changing the balance of dark blue, green and pink can make the same repeat feel calmer or more playful. This is a screen-based colour study, not a guarantee of printed colour on a particular substrate.
The complete repeat is shown without cropping so the relationship between motifs can be assessed. A future project could explore alternate density or scale within an agreed scope.
